We are happy to announce that Sarnia Family Catechism will be returning this October!!
We will be at St. Patrick's High School again located at 1001 The Rapids Pkwy. There will be classes for all age groups including adults, and babysitting for ages 3 and under.
Classes run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a snack and play break included. Each family brings their own snack; children may want to bring their own water bottle and wear appropriate running shoes. Coffee and tea are available.
Fr. Brian is there most days and provides the Sacrament of Reconciliation and stops in to visit the children in their classes. We are very thankful for his presence and support!
Everyone is welcome and we encourage you to just come and try it out a few times if you are not sure about joining.
The cost is $100 per family for the year but if there is difficulty to pay that is not a problem; just talk to us privately - subsidies are available.

It is wonderful that you are considering joining Family Catechism to learn more about our beautiful Catholic Faith! But I think you will also find that you will love our community and make some new friends! Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have AND please invite another family!!
We look forward to seeing you all!! Let us remember to pray for this endeavour and each other!
1. Complete adherence to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope. 2. Acceptance of the right and duty of parents to be the primary educators of their children. 3. This formational enterprise is a lay endeavour - not clerical. 4. Instruction will not criticize clergy. Instruction will support clear teaching of the Roman Catholic Church in a positive manner. 5. Parents and their children take part in this endeavour. Parents participate either as instructors or as participants in a parent formation class thereby demonstrating their
active and living faith. 6. The framework of the teaching enterprise is a community effort. As such, a fraternal bond and social interaction between families is to be fostered. 7. There is a joyful duty of apostolate for individuals and the group to follow the Holy Father's call to evangelize.
