The Sacrament of Marriage is a vocation of love, unity, and self-sacrifice. This most wonderful sacrament is a powerful sign and symbol of the love God has for each of us. We treasure and value the gift of marriage and wish to celebrate it with great joy and faith. The Roman Catholic Church asks that marriages take place in the sacred space of the church; that the couple has marriage preparation; and that the marriage be celebrated before the Church’s representative. Destination and such weddings, without the blessing of the Church, are not considered a Sacrament and need to be convalidated so that you may continue to share in the Sacraments of the Church. Please contact the parish office at least 9 months in advance before beginning to plan your wedding.
