Confirmation is an important step in our faith journey. Through Confirmation, we are strengthened by the Holy Spirit and called to live as witnesses of Jesus in our families, schools, communities, and the world. It deepens our connection to the Church and encourages us to live our faith with courage, compassion, and purpose.

Through Confirmation, we are “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit,” receiving the grace and courage to continue to grow in faith, serve others, and live as part of the Church.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE FALL 2026 SESSION. The deadline for registration is September 18, 2026.

Mandatory Parent Information Meeting (Choose One):   
                   7pm @ Our Lady of Mercy - Tuesday, September 29th
                   7pm @ Our Lady of Mercy - Wednesday, September 30th

ALL Confirmation preparation sessions are mandatory for parents and candidates. 
                   Preparation sessions are on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Hall
                   October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th; November 4th

Reconciliation
                   Sunday, November 8th - Our Lady of Mercy Church - 2-4pm


Practice Session
                   Wednesday, November 11th - St. Michael Church - 6:30pm

Confirmation
                   Sunday, November 15th - St. Michael Church - 2pm
                   *Please arrive by 1:15pm*

Confirmation Sponsor:
Sponsors must be baptized and confirmed, practicing Roman Catholics, and at least 16 years old. It is best that sponsors have a good personal relationship with your child. Sponsors should be good examples to the candidates of Catholic life. Sponsors should encourage active participation in the Sacraments and growth in virtue. Sponsors must attend the practice session on November 11, 2026 at St. Michael Church. The sponsor and the candidate are required to have 5 Faith Conversations (information to follow). Parents may not be sponsors for their children.

Registration: New this year! Use the Microsoft Forms link below to register for the Confirmation Prep classes. One form is required for each child. Please be sure to read each question carefully before responding.
