PANCAKE TUESDAY - SACRED HEART CHURCH HALLShrove Tuesday Family Pancake Supper!
Bring the whole family out for a cozy Shrove Tuesday tradition hosted by the Knights of Columbus Council 1429!
Join us at Sacred Heart Church in the meeting room at 5:00 p.m. for a delicious pancake, sausage supper and a chance to gather as a parish family. All proceeds support youth activities across our Family of Parishes.

• Kids under 10: FREE
Come share a warm meal, reconnect with friends, and enjoy a simple moment of togetherness as we prepare for the Lenten season. We’d love to see you there! -

Chili-Challenge at St Joe'sThanks to the donors of pots of chili, the volunteers, CWL St Joe's and specially to Paul who donated back the 50-50 winnings.
The winner was Bob, and not for the first time :) - Thanks Bob and to all the other donors who were not that far behind. -

History
Founded on June 9, 1909, Council 1429 was established initially to a council in Port Huron, Michigan. Our chapter has been serving this community for many generations. Named for past-member William E. Prentice, Council 1429 Charity supports several causes. Some of the causes we support include raising money for local food banks such as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Inn of the Good Shepherd, the city-wide Stuff the Bus, Coats for Kids and Scholarships for High School students in Sarnia. We also partner with and raise funds for the parish churches, elementary and high schools. As well as supporting local charities, council members are involved in activities that support The Arthritis Society and Special Olympics Ontario
Over time, several parishes housed their own councils which leaves Council 1429 with Our Lady of Mercy, Sacred Heart, St. Joseph and St. George parishes.
